Chris:
Let’s get right into it. First of all, tell me about your career path and how you ended up as the fierce leader and general manager of Creed Interactive.

Sarah:
Oh, goodness. I have been so fortunate to work in a number of different industries from publishing to event production, sports and entertainment, to leading marketing teams. And now, as you mentioned, I have the privilege to serve as general manager here at Creed.

Chris:
That’s quite a journey.

Sarah:
Certainly. Many have said that it’s very much not a ladder but a jungle gym. I have been playing on that jungle gym for the past 20 years. This opportunity at Creed has been extraordinary for me. I’ve been able to partner with so many talented team members and lead a small business, which comes with its own unique set of challenges and growth opportunities. As you can probably attest, it’s an incredible honor to have that much responsibility. It brings a great desire to ensure we’re doing the best we can every day for the people we’re serving.

Chris:
What is your philosophy for creating a good culture here at Creed?

Sarah:
Yeah, I don’t mean to sound too corporate Kool-Aid when I start with the mission statement, but you can probably attest everything does start with that for me. In particular, Creed’s mission statement is that we’re a people-first digital agency that goes all in to drive our client’s business forward. For me, that mission statement really becomes a framework for how we make decisions not only for our team but also for our clients.

Chris:
People-first sounds essential.

Sarah:
Absolutely. Supporting each other, valuing diverse perspectives, and fostering an environment where everybody feels empowered to contribute their best work is crucial. When that happens, and you really focus on these principles, we create a culture that drives innovation and brings out the best in our team and the work.

Chris:
What makes Creed unique?

Sarah:
One thing that’s really unique about Creed is we offer tailored solutions that align with project goals and our clients’ goals. We have great expertise in custom developments, and if a custom solution isn’t the right fit for budget, scope, or timeline, we can do implementations. Combining that with our UX research, digital design, and strategic consultation, we deliver high-quality and innovative solutions for our clients. Our secret sauce is our people-first approach, leading with integrity, being ready for action, and doing incredibly well-thought-out end-to-end deliveries or augmenting existing teams. This flexibility has allowed us to deliver outstanding solutions in the market.

Chris:
Thank you very much, Sarah, for all your time.
