TechChannel Announces Refreshed Website

TechChannel is an independent media organization providing education and information for IT professionals. In partnership with Creed, TechChannel launched a newly designed website for their expert IT content, featuring brand new design standards, an enhanced user experience, and sleek search capabilities.

Creed partnered with TechChannel to create a refreshed website, designed to inspire trust and confidence for their technology audience as well as offer a best-in-class digital media environment to support their important business partners.

The Opportunity

Website Features Include:  

  • Updated website structure making it easier to engage with TechChannel’s reliable, credible, and relevant IT content from their expert contributors and trusted partners
  • Sleeker and more intuitive design that includes improvements to the ad portrayal system 
  • Faster and more user-friendly experience, with improved search and content experiences, including filtering by technology for articles 
  • User-friendly approach to navigation that helps site visitors easily access their Expert Insights, Tech Solutions, as well as Webinars & Events

Highlights

Creed’s expert user research, design, and development team provided the following features to the new and improved website:

  • 6-months of rigorous UX research to gather user, contributor, and partner feedback to inform site updates
  • Implemented new plug-ins that assist with functionality and ease of use 
  • Custom filtering system 
  • Multiple design iterations that led to a clean and intuitive design that showcases TechChannel’s expert content and thought leadership 

A Sleek End Result

TechChannel understands that better user experience helps drive revenue, so in partnership with Creed they prioritized Discovery time to ensure that UX research helped drive the end product. 

  • TechChannel’s audience is very tech savvy, and Creed wanted the redesigned site to reflect the needs of that audience
  • Creed conducted four stakeholder interviews, four user interviews, reviewed site performance metrics, and performed an audit to understand the site architecture
  • We reorganized and simplified site content as well as redesigned site map for a more intuitive experience for both advertisers and users
